Situated at the south end of Williston Lake, Mackenzie is the gateway to the largest manmade lake in Canada and home to the world's largest tree crusher. This is an active community offering a wide range of activities for all seasons. Winter boats excellent snowmobiling conditions, cross-country ski trails, and downhill skiing at Little Mac Ski Hill. Visit nearby Powder King Ski Resort for some world-class skiing conditions. In the summer, Morfee Lake, ten minutes from downtown, provides excellent scenery, swimming, boating, waterskiing and sunbathing. The natural unspoiled wilderness provides ample opportunities for fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, wildlife viewing and photography.
